Biography

Professor Luan Jie serves as a full professor at the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS) and Peking Union Medical College (PUMC), one of China's most prestigious centers for reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. With decades of clinical experience, he has become a leading figure in the field of medical aesthetics, blending surgical precision with an artistic eye for natural results. His academic contributions include publishing over 20 peer-reviewed papers and 5 academic books, significantly advancing the discipline of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. In 1996, Professor Luan was honored with the Sackler China Physician of the Year Award and subsequently traveled to the United States for academic exchange, where he shared insights and adopted international best practices. In 2002, he received two prestigious awards from the Chinese Medical Association's Society of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetic Surgery: a Second Prize for Discipline Construction and a Third Prize for Discipline Contribution.
